St. Peter

1882
Stained glass
Church of the Assumption, Windsor, Ontario, Canada

St. Peter is seen in the center with his keys and short beard. The scroll above him has his name in French. The surrounding icons focus mostly on the Passion and Resurrection of Christ: The hammer and nails at 10 o'clock, the empty tomb below that, then the pillar and whips, followed by the three empty crosses – from which we move counter-clockwise to a country scene, a lamp and book entitled "Holy Bible" in English, a golden cross, and a white cross and sheaf inserted into a golden crown.
